HPUX 9.0.5 Compile Problems

Hi,

I tried to compile Squid 1.0.1 on a HPUX 9.0.5 system running the HP C
Compiler.
For every source I got a strange message like

  "cc: "<module>.c" line ..., warning 501: Empty Source file"

After that a .o was created but ld fails complaining about unsatisfied
symbols: main

Has anybody yet compiled squid on HPUX 9.0.5 using the HP C Compiler?
Or is it necessary to install GNU cc first to compile squid.
