Moving between 1.0.8 and 1.0.12

Hi to all,

        I've noted (and noticed) the memory leak in 1.0.8, and have compiled
up 1.0.12 to replace it. Can I keep my existing squid cache/logs/config files
and simply copy (install) the new binaries over the top of these ?

        Thanks to all who are involved in the project, squid has been a
lifesaver for us with its flexibility, features and low overhead per
connection!
