FTP content type revisited..

There was a discussion awhile back on if "README" etc.. should be treated as
text/plain or octet-stream...

What became of this?

What about a table of what the individual admin thinks it should be?
Something like:

# filename Content-type
#-------------- -------------
README text/plain
INDEX text/plain
README.1st text/plain
README.* text/plain
*.xyz application/octet-stream

This would work for me!
