you want comm.c ~line 1039 to read:

            if (fd == theOutIcpConnection)
                continue;
            continueloop = 0;
            for (j=0;j<Config.Port.number_http;j++) {
                if (fd == theHttpConnection[j])
                    continueloop = 1;
            }
            if (continueloop)
                continue;

it would appear as if the patch listed at
http://squid.nlanr.net/Squid/1.1/1.1.10/multiple-ports.patch is incomplete.
i'll resend a 1.10 patch to Duane.
