Selective Squid Accelerator ?

Hello,

Is it possible to configure Squid such that it can be used as an httpd
accelerator but instead of proxing one Web server (in my domain), Squid
could select a given Web server to whom one would like to connect
from outside campus? (for example: www1.my.domain, www2.my.domain, ...)

Redirector works fine using manual proxy configuration, but we do not want
our visitors to configure their browser to our Squid.

We were able to make Squid accelerate a single Web server (running on a
different port other than 80). But we would like Squid to be selective
on the passing request to www1, or www2, or ....

Thanks a lot for any advice!
Enrique
