I've set up MRTG as in the example - hacked url_get to accept cache_object as
legit, done DNS as per minute and varios other tweaks that were needed.

It all works fine and for the first time I can see the actual usage patterns

How can I get the stats to plot both actual bandwidth usage and bandwidth
saving
(by virtue of using squid) ?

My box running squid is seperate from the monitoring box.
Do I need to have scripts fire off every five mins on the squid box to crunch
the logs or is there an (easy) way via stats option ?

Squid working very well I would just like to have a graph or two to
demonstrate why we should make it permenant !
At the moment we have 64KBit line but soon to be much higher (I hope)

Thanks
