Has anybody measured the actual improvement from using the ICP HIT_OBJ
feature? That is, how often it happens, and how much response time is
saved?
IMHO, a potentially dangerous "optimization" that works in less than
20-30% of cases may be viewed as a harmful "kludge" and should be avoided.
