I'm using Communicator 4.04 with Squid 1.1.18... on Linux...when i go to
access a page... it does not retrieve it directly from the cache...
rather... the web page gets fetched directly... subsequent objects under
this URL will get fetched from the cache... it's just this top level URL
that doesn't get fetched... i don't have this problem when using the Squid
object cache with a browser running under NT.
