First victim of my new question answering policy. (I don't know how many of
_you_ guys out there get a pile of personally addressed email asking
questions out of the FAQ. Duane and Hendrik for cert. Me also it seems).

Since this is a list question, I'll be kind, and fail to wonder how a
Network Manager at a Technical University might have not thought to look in
the FAQ under http://squid.nlanr.net/Squid/FAQ/FAQ-3.html#ss3.1 (3.1
src/Makefile options).

The answer is there. You gotta follow that URL, wherever that URL may lead
you...
