Non proxy aware browsers

Hello,

How I can use my squid proxy with help of non proxy aware browsers?
Now when I use something like http://my.proxy.site/http://somewhere.else.com
I get the error:

"While trying to retrieve the URL: /http://somewhere.else.com
The following error was encountered:
    Invalid URL syntax
This means that:
    Please double check it, or ask for assistance."

and following line in my access.log file:

888509825.557 34 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX ERR_INVALID_URL/400 596 GET
/http://somewhere.else.com - NONE/- -

FAQ reading don't help me ;-(
