Starting Squid on HPUX

I'm running Squid 1.1.20 on an HP D330. When I try and start it from rc3.d
it fails. If I start it from the command line it runs fine.

The entry in cache.log when it is started from rc3.d reads as follows:

1998/02/27 15:49:18| Starting Squid Cache Version 1.1.20 for
hppa1.0-hp-hpux10.20...

1998/02/27 15:49:18| dnsOpenServers: WARNING: Failed to start 'dnsserver'
#1.
FATAL: Failed to start any dnsservers

The Squid startup is one of the last things to be run; the DNS setup
occurs during the runlevel 2 setup.

Anyone got any idea what's failing here, or any tips for firing up Squid
on HPUX10.20?

Many thanks

Richard Stagg
