Sorry, I should have more specific:

I'm running 1.2b16 which has 13 KB as a default.
Unlike 1.1.20 which just issued the warning, 1.2b16 crashes.
Looking at the code, I already found the filemap stuff and lowered
store_avg_object_size to 5 KB.
I just wanted to know if that is the recommended way to go.
Are there any negative effects of setting it that
low (maybe overdimensioned filemap, i.e. waste of memory ?)
