If ye mean squid-1_1_20-src_tar.gz then I suggest:

a cp /tmp/USERNAME (where USERNAME is your username =)

gzip -d squid-1_1_20-src_tar.gz

tar xf squid-1_1_20-src_tar

cp -r squid-1.1.20 $HOME/src/squid-1.1.20 or something like that
