Squid 1.2.beta19 compile error

When trying to compile the new 1.2.beta19 on my Linux box (RedHat +
2.0.33 kernel) I get the following errors:

gcc -g -O2 -Wall -I. -I../include -I../include -c comm.c -o comm.o

comm.c:653: undefined or invalid # directive
comm.c:654: warning: implicit declaration of function `aioClose'
make[1]: *** [comm.o] Error 1

Any ideas?
