LDAP authentication in 1.2 ?

Is there any plan to include Clayton Donley's LDAP authentication patch (http:
//miso.wwa.com/~donley/
) in Squid 1.2?
Or is it a better idea to use external authenticator with the proxy auth patch
 from Arjan de Vet incorporated in 1.2?
In this case, is there any ldap_auth program out there working with this patch
?
