LRU Rate

Dear friends,

        How can I know an estimate rate of LRU replacement, that's
actually occurring on my cache?

        And second, how can I add a second cache directory? Which are the
basic steps to do that without loosing , if possible, the information
stored on the previous one?

        I've looked out the Documentation and FAQ, but I didn't find any words
about this.

        Any answers will be welcome.
