Hmm - depends. I'm not sure, whether 1.2 uses up to now same strategy as
1.1.x, but on 1.1.x it is definitely possible to add new disks without
loosing the whole cache content as long as you keep the cache_dir entries
and store_avg_object_size the same. I did it 2 or 3 times and never had any
problems with it. Just take into account, that 'tar'ing one cache_dir to
another disk takes a little bit time. On our SS20 I had an average x-fer
rate of about 1 GB/h UWD (Seagate Cheetah 9 ST19101W) -> WD SCSI (Seagate
Elite 9 ST410800W), 1.5 GB/h Fast (Seagate Barracuda 4 ST15150N) -> UWD SCSI
(Seagate Cheetah 9 ST19101W) ... May be this helps ;-)
