Which version is recommeded

I have been testing both 1.NOVM.22 and 1.1.22 for a week now
and both seem to work fine on a P-166 32 meg ram with default
squid.conf and on 4 simultaneous browsers active only.

My final machine would be a P-II 300 MMX 128 mb and 6.8 gig
hard disk and with 40-50 simultaneous browsers active.
Which version of squid will I use and what is the recommended
cache_mem and cache_swap for this including how many
filedescriptors will I set if I will be using the NOVM version.
