SSL transactions

Hi,

I am having a problem with the SSL connections. I 've configured a squid
proxy on a machine which has two
parent proxies. When the Security server in the browser is pointing to the
child proxy, it refuses to connect to a host on the port 443.
I've added the following directives to the configuration file :

acl CONNECT method CONNECT
never_direct allow CONNECT

but it still doesn't work

Any hint to give ?
