Squid without cache

Hi,
I'd like Squid working without Cache as if it was only a proxy server.
Moreover, I'd like not to use the cache directory.
Is it possible or must Squid always detect the cache directory ?

If I set
acl ALL dst 0.0.0.0
no_cache deny ALL

is it enough ?
