Firewall and squid on same machine?

Hi all -

I'm trying to gage what I need to do this and I thought I'd ask the
opinions of those out there wiht more experience ...

I'm considering using RH Linux 2.0.36 as a firewall (ipfwadm) and a
proxy (squid) for about 215 users. The only other software I might
consider running is junkbuster in combo with squid. This would be
connected to a T1 on one end and a 100Mb switch on the other.

Is it imprudent to do this on a single machine? The machine in question
is a P2-266 / 128MB ECC PC-100 SDRAM / 9GB ultra wide SCSI (Mylex) /
(2)3c905b.

If not, what if I upped it to a P2-400?
