You have to either configure the browser to use your Squid as a proxy
for these requests, or turn on acceleration in squid.conf. Else Squid
can't figure out what the request is.

httpd_accel virtual
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header on

should make Squid pass these URLs to the redirector.
