It is a known problem. Upgrade to .PATCH2. If the problem persists, comment
the assertion(s) out. Histogram-based stats may not work, but Squid will be
fine.

If you have time and desire, please analyze the coredump and send us the
results. Essentially, we need to understand what makes those simple
calculations to fail. I still do not know why 1+1 is sometimes 3 on HPUX.
