Digests problems

Hi,

we have 2 proxies, which query each other as neigbours.
Both have digests enabled. Proxy A gets the digest
from proxy A without problems. Proxy B complains
in his cache.log:

1999/01/21 09:22:05| disabling corrupted (Not Found) digest from
proxyA

but Proxy A has (referring to the cachemgr) his digests
enabled:

  Local Digest:
  store digest: size: 656187 bytes
         entries: count: 226177 capacity: 1049899 util: 22%
         deletion attempts: 0
bits: per entry: 5 on: 831293 capacity: 5249496 util: 16%
         bit-seq: count: 1399752 avg.len: 3.75
         added: 226177 rejected: 909981 ( 80.09 %) del-ed: 0
         collisions: on add: 0.01 % on rej: 0.01 %

Proxy A seems to complain on the way proxy B tries to get the
digest: (cache.log)

  1999/01/21 11:19:13| internalStart: unknown request:
  GET /squid-internal-periodic/store_digest HTTP/1.0^M
  Accept: application/cache-digest^M
  Accept: text/html^M
  Via: 0.0 bremse.erl.sbs.de:8081 (Squid/2.1.PATCH2)^M
  X-Forwarded-For: unknown^M
  Host: proxy2.kwu.erl.siemens.de:8081^M
  Cache-Control: max-age=259200^M
  Connection: keep-alive^M

Both proxies are squid-2.1PATCH2 with the
clientHandleIMSReply-leak patch applied.
ProxyA runs under hpux 10.20
ProxyB runs under irix 6.5.0

Any clues ?
Thanx in advance.

Rainer
