transparent proxy on Slackware

I tried to compile Squid-2.1.PATCH2 (with IMSReply-leak patch) on a
Linux Slackware 3.5, kernel 2.0.35 compiled with almost every IP networking
option turned on (including port redirecting), with transparent proxy support.
I did this using "configure --enable-ipf-transparent".
In the FAQ says that i should not worry about compiling with
transparent proxy on Linux. Still, "configure" reports some very strange
errors:

checking if IP-Filter header files are installed... no
WARNING: Cannot find necessary IP-Filter header files
Transparent Proxy support WILL NOT be enabled

That's curious because the FAQ didn't mentioned anything about any
supplemental files.
What are those header files? They are in the Squid sources? Somewhere
else? Where can i get them?
