CPU load on FreeBSD 2.2.8?

Hi!

I read the thread regarding probable memory leak in Squid 2.2STABLE2 on
FreeBSD 2.2.8...

I am running FreeBSD 2.2.8 and up to yesterday Squid 2.2STABLE2.
Yesterday I upgraded to 2.2STABLE3. What I noticed was that the CPU
load went from about 1.5-1.8 before the upgrade to about 0.5-0.6 after
the upgrade. Nothing else in the system changed...

Any hints why? Was I suffering from the memory leak syndrome too? (The
memory util. is about the same...)
