A couple things come to mind:

a) Perhaps you have enabled icp_hit_stale?

b) Or your peers are using stricter refresh rules than you do.

c) Or they are trying to use you as a parent.

It should not be related to the cache key change. The key change affects
both ICP and HTTP in the same way (old objects are never hit).
