Hello.
I have problem with Squid-2.2STABLE3. After 2 (maximum 3) days of work it
suddenly gets very slow. When a web browser issues a request for a URL it
usually takes maximum 1-2 seconds until Squid starts sending data to
browser starts. After the slowdown it can easily take 10 seconds. Machine
configuration :

Dual PII - 233
512MB RAM
Ether Express Pro 100 network card
Linux kernel 2.2.6
Squid-2.2STABLE3 with --enable-delay-pools
squid disk cache is about 19GB

This problem appeared somewhere in 2.2DEV versions of squid. Squid uses
redirectors and dnsservers, but does not block on requests to them. It
also does not block on low number of file descriptors (configured with
1024 FD).

Any ideas how to fix this problem, or al least how to find what causes it?
