Having read this, I can only offer the following (which occured to me in
a fit of strangeness):

From: Tyro <t.rex@cretacious.org>
To: B.Saurus <bronto@upper.devonian.net>
Subject: Fw: Fw: FWD: Fwd: Virus Warning (fwd) (fwd)

Just got this, Bronto. Better forward this to everyone you know...

>>> This is VERY SERIOUS!! Please forward to everyone you know.
>>> They will be very grateful. There is a virus out now being
>>> sent to people via feeding ranges called the 'Mammals' virus.
>>> It is very serious. It will destroy your eco-system, your
>>> habitat, and your water-sources, as well as causing global
>>> warming.
>>>
>>> It installs itself into the food chain and won't stop until
>>> it's destroyed it's operating environment, and taken at least
>>> 5K species with it, or it gets wiped out by the Y2K bug.
>>>
>>> Make sure you don't eat any warm-blooded prey that bear live young.
>>>

Honestly. If something tells you to forward something to EVERYONE YOU
KNOW, then DON'T!

To use an old saw: What if they'd asked you to send them money? Or to
jump off a cliff to prevent the spread of tuberculosis? Would you have
done it? Then why do this?

In the words of P.T.Barnum: There's one born every minute.

You've been had. So has the person who sent it to you.

Take a look at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html if you EVER
feel the urge to do this again. I hope you feel heartily ashamed.
