Transparent Proxy

Dear all,

Please accept our apology if this question has been asked and answered by
someone else.

We are running a proxy server using Squid/2.2.STABLE3 and FreeBSD
3.2-RELEASE. We are implementing transparent proxy on our Cisco router by
using this server as the next-hop gateway.

When we are starting to apply the transparent proxy on our Cisco router,
the server is starting to give some warning and error messages on the
server's /var/log/messages as follows:

Case 1:
Jun 8 17:26:17 proxy3 squid[249]: WARNING! Your cache is running out of
filedescriptors

Case 2:
Jun 8 17:26:30 proxy3 squid[249]: WARNING: Forwarding loop detected for:
[the rest is deleted]

Case 3:
Jun 8 17:12:33 proxy3 squid[249]: parseHttpRequest: Unsupported method
'PROPFIND'

Case 4:
Jun 8 17:26:32 proxy3 squid[249]: clientReadRequest: FD 139 Invalid
