automatic trying the other parent

hi all,

I am using squid-2.2-stable3 and i have 2 internet connection, each
connection have a parent with no-query,

=== in my config ===

cache_peer a1 parent 8080 7
cache_peer a2 parent 8080 7

===

the problem is come up when trying to get an url.. at this condition

parent a1 up internet line is down
parent a2 up internet line is up

say url://a .. squid check the first parent couse it's up so the request
goes to a1 .. but the internet line is broken so it just came up with
error. plz corrent me if i am wrong.
 
is there any conf that makes squid automaticaly trying the other parent ?
