I had a transparent proxy running using ipchains and Squid. On top of it, I
have the Squid configed as Proxy-Only and has an Apache Proxy (in the same
machine) as its cache-peer parent.
In squid.conf, I use
cache_peer my_apache parent 80 3130 proxy-only
By examining the access log, I can see the Squid made the request to the
Apache and the Apache retrieved page from WWW.
Now the problem: after I moved the Apache to a different machine (in the
same sub net), (Squid.conf is changed to point to the new address), the
Apache no longer receive the request from Squid. Squid is retriving
everything without passing it to Apache.
What did I do wrong?
