Well, the second one looks like a memory allocation failure. The amount
I know about AIX can be summarised by -> . <-, however I'm impelled to
wonder if there's any resource-utilisation limits on your system as
regards to data-segment size, or maximum memory limitations that squid
may be exceeding. Such are not unusual on BSD, for example.
