A really bad bug report ...

I have very little information about this, but I'll try to specify what I
know:

I've been having problems connecting to sites which work fine when going
direct (the squid configuration worked with these sites before, and the
config hasn't changed). Requests would just timeout.

I traced it back to squid by trying to go direct w/ telnet from the box
running squid -- it worked on every url I tried.

I ended up stopping the squid processes, and then I started it up again. It
works fine now.

The interesting cache.log entries:

1999/07/23 18:32:12| WARNING: All dnsserver processes are busy.
1999/07/23 18:32:12| WARNING: 5 pending requests queued
1999/07/23 18:32:12| Consider increasing the number of dnsserver processes in
your config file.
1999/07/25 23:24:40| clientReadRequest: FD 16 Invalid Request
1999/07/26 17:57:21| storeSwapInFileOpened:
/usr/local/squid/cache/00/7C/00007CBE: Size mismatch: 324(fstat) != 432(object)
(I then shut the server down)
CPU Usage: 6173.050 seconds
Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
Page faults with physical i/o: 116257

(BTW: I was having the problem as of 20:50 on 1999/07/26 -- there were no log
entried between 18:15 and the shutdown messages at 20:54.)

Is there anything I can/should do for future bug tracking on this? I hate
sending these very vague/skimpy bug reports, but I can't seem to find any
useful information anywhere.

thanks.
