Parent times out on every POST

Hi,
I have squid configured to never_direct all.
All connections go to my ISP's squid which uses Squid 2.2_4 i believe.
While his proxy allows POST's if his proxy server is directly in the
browser, it will not allow POST if my browser is sent through my squid
cache instead. Here is an example of my access.log in this case.

933483843.022 240965 203.56.97.150 TCP_MISS/504 0 POST
http://www.cineca.it/cgi-bin/wwwwais-squid -
FIRST_PARENT_MISS/proxy.isp.com.

933472247.023 240596 203.56.97.150 TCP_MISS/504 0 POST
http://core.freshmeat.net/search.php3 -
FIRST_PARENT_MISS/proxy.isp.com. -

It is not dependent on cgi-bin being in the string. All POST's will not
work. My isp does not know what is wrong and presently has been unable to
fix it. I am not the only user who is having this problem on this isp :)
Does anyone know what is likely to be causing this? thanks
