Missing swap.state, How can create it again?

Hi all,
  In our cache e2fsck removed /cache/swap.state due to its unclean inodes.
I restarted squid, and after some minutes shutdown it. But swap.state size
was zero. We areB using Squid.2.2STABLE4 on RedHat 5.1.

How can create swap.state again?
