never_direct allow all and -k reconfigure problem..

Newbie Question... so apologies in advance.

Have addded:

never_direct allow all_users

saved
 and then typed

/usr/local/squid/bin/squid -k reconfigure

only to be presented with:

>[root@qube etc]# /usr/local/squid/bin/squid -k reconfigure
>2000/01/22 15:18:18| parseConfigFile: line 820 unrecognized: 'never_direct
allow all_users'
>[root@qube etc]#

What am I doing wrong in line 820?
