dns timeouts?

Hi,
        Just a quick question, I upgraded to the latest version of Squid
2.3. Anyway on certain websites when using the proxy, I get a "no dns
record" error, however if i disable the proxy, it works fine.

Is there a value where I can increase the timeout, or is it a sign of
business?

I am making squid use /etc/resolv.conf
