Hi all,

We decided to run squid with as transparent proxy, but there are some
problems:

during runing ./configure --enable-ipf-transparent we get a warning:

checking if IP-Filter header files are installed... no WARNING: Cannot
find necessary IP-Filter header files
Transparent Proxy support WILL NOT be enabled

My OS is Linux 2.2.14 Clackware 7.0, Kernel settings look like:

              <*> Packet socket
              [*] Kernel/User netlink socket
              [*] Routing messages
              <*> Netlink device emulation
              [*] Network firewalls
              [ ] Socket Filtering
              <*> Unix domain sockets
              [*] TCP/IP networking
              [ ] IP: multicasting
              [ ] IP: advanced router
[ ] IP: kernel level autoconfiguration
              [*] IP: firewalling
[ ] IP: firewall packet netlink device
              [*] IP: transparent proxy support
              [*] IP: masquerading
--- Protocol-specific masquerading support will be built
               [ ] IP: ICMP masquerading
--- Protocol-specific masquerading support will be built
              < > IP: tunneling
<*> IP: GRE tunnels over IP
              [*] IP: aliasing support
[ ] IP: ARP daemon support
[*] IP: TCP syncookie support (not enabled per

What else do I need to do? What I am missing?

Thanks in advance,
