Hello,there.

I have squid2.2 stable5 on Solaris2.6.
I have some problem with the connection between this PROXY
and FTP server (WindowsNT Base).
Acl setup for FTP is like below.
( This FTP server access shows DIRECT in the access.log.)

[ setup in squid.conf ]
acl FTP1 url_regex ^ftp://software.xxx.com/address/
acl FTP1 proto FTP
acl to_proxy_ip0 dst x.x.x.0-x.x.x.255/24
acl to_local_net dst x.0.0.0/255.0.0.0
always_direct allow to_local_net FTP1 !to_tdcproxy_ip0

On FTP accessing client, its source generated by squid is as follows
(A lil' bit long. sorry):

<A HREF="access.dat">
<IMG BORDER=0
SRC="http://itcns2:8080/squid-internal-static/icons/anthony-unknown.gif"
ALT="[FILE]"></A>
<A HREF="access.dat">access.dat</A> . . . . . . . . . . . Mar 3 21:21
1023k
<A HREF="access.dat;type=a">
<IMG BORDER=0
SRC="http://itcns2:8080/squid-internal-static/icons/anthony-text.gif"
ALT="[VIEW]">
</A>
 <A HREF="access.dat;type=i"><IMG BORDER=0
SRC="http://itcns2:8080/squid-internal-static/icons/anthony-box.gif"
ALT="[DOWNLOAD]"></A>

Concretely, it shows on browser screen(Netscape Communicator 4.7) like this.

[ ? ] access.dat ....... Mar 2 21:21 1023k [ = ] [ D ]

where [ ? ] : anthony-unknow.gif
             [ = ] : botton for view
             [ D ] : botton for download

[ [ QUESTION ] ]

HOW can we force squid to recognize file type,
i.e. MS WORD file(.doc), MS Excel file (.xls) etc.

I need your help.
