I have been attempting to compile Squid 2.2.Stable5 on BSDI 4.01 with transparent enable but it keeps telling me that the transparent proxy will not be enabled because it cannot find the necessary IP-Filter header files. I saw one message that referenced this and it suggested that they were in the directory /usr/include/netinet and that configure should be modified. I tried that and also tried copying the file to the /usr/include and the squid source include directory. No difference. We really need to get this working. Can anyone give me some hints? Thanks.
