Please Help - Squid Error Message

I have squid installed on a FreeBSD 3.2 box acting as a gateway/firewall
of sorts.

I have a internal address (10.10.0.100) bound to one network adapter and
a real address bound to another.

I have tried this with the firewall option turned on in the kernal and
with it turned off but I get the same problem either way.

Squid works fine other than every time it hits a new domain (meaning one
it hasn't seen in a while) it generates this error message and causes a
3-5 second pause before it starts to pull in the site. This is
extremely annoying for the users.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
