Hallo,

i want to use Squid (squid2.3.STABLE1 on Port 3128, not firewall-maschine)
with PHTTPD (Port 8080) on an AIX-Firewall.

Client -> Squid -> Firewall (PHTTPD) -> Internet

My AIX-Firewall is my PARENT:

cache_peer 10.96.160.8 parent 8080 0 no-query default
cache_peer 10.96.160.9 parent 8080 0 no-query

I use User-Authentication with MySQL, all works fine.

But when i want to use a Web-Mail-Interface (www.gmx.de or www.gmx.net,
good Mail-Provider) and i send an Web-EMail then:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>400 Bad Request</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Bad Request</H1>
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.<P>
Request header field is missing colon separator.<P>
<PRE>
; boundary=---------------------------317891304820672</PRE>
<P>
</BODY></HTML>

Whats wrong. Is this:

1.) browser-problem
2.) squid-problem
3.) PHTTPD-problem
4.) GMX-problem

Please help me

Greeting from Germany

   Heinz Ahrens
