SSL problems with squid

Two problems using squid-2.3.STABLE2 with external DNS

1. Is it possible to load balance CONNECT request over more than one parent
proxy?

eg.

squid -> parent1 -> internet
         parent2 -> internet

In squid.conf of squid i have:
cache_peer parent1 parent 8008 3130 default
cache_peer parent2 parent 8008 3130
never_direct allow all

squid always fetches CONNECT requests via parent1. squid only uses parent2
if parent1 is down.

2. Loading Framesets via CONNECT over squid

If i try to load the content of multiple Framesets via above proxy
configuration i sometimes the the message "Document contains no data" from
my browser.
I did not see any error or warning in any log of the above proxies.
Does anybody know why this happens?
