Authentication without prompting

Hi,

I have tried looking through all the Squid resources, even browsed the
archives, so I apologise in advance if this has already been dealt with.

Firstly, everything I have configured is working just fine. I set up ncas_auth
so I could identify users in access.log.

What I want to be able to do now is authenticate or identify them without the
users being prompted for a name/ password.

The problem stems from the fact that the users are on X terminals so that
without any authentication they are all identified in the access.log with
server IP address.
