About squid code

Hi, Everyone.

I'm graduate student in Korea.

I want to modify squid-2.3.STABLE2 source.

I would like to reduce client overload by modify HTML code (image size,
font size...)

Where and When do I modify squid source code...?

What is the function that I will modify.

Please, Help me...
