[SQU] unlinkd disabled

I am using Squid 2.3 STABLE2 under Solaris 7. I am experiencing the
problem where the disk fills up, Squid complains, but disk usage does
not go down. I noticed in the cache.log file the following line.

        2000/08/23 08:22:08| Unlinkd is disabled

I have checked the LRU replacement code in the store.c file, and it does
not have the problem present in STABLE3 (with the misplaced semi-colon).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
