[SQU] redirect not working

I'm installing squidguard, but it seems that "redirect" is not working in
squid.
This is the line in squid.conf:

[root@linux blacklist]# grep ^redirect /usr/local/squid/etc/squid.conf
redirect_program /usr/local/squid/bin/squidGuard -c
/usr/local/squid/squidGuard/squidGuard.conf
redirect_children 5
---
With this, squidguard should be filtering, but it's not happening
and there's no activity in the squidguard logs.
It's weird, because if I execute squidGuard from command line, it's
registered in squidguard logs.
Any idea about what can be wrong?
