[SQU] Best platform for Squid

Hi guys, howzit going ?

I have a new Celeron 550 with 384Megs of RAM, a 4.3 gig and 2x47gig ide
drives.
What is the best platform to run Squid on ? (Linux, FreeBSD) etc.
We will have about 150 simultaneous connections for users surfing the web.
At the moment we are running Squid 2.3STABLE3 on a FreeBSD 4.0 boxlet and
seem very happy with it performance.
Would FreeBSD 4.1 be a decent platform for Squid ?
Any suggestions welcome.
