[SQU] Transparent proxy and cacheing only proxy

Dear squid users

  I am newbie in squid. Can i have a question to u all ?
Sometimes i becomed confuesd with Transparent proxy and cache proxy.

So far I understand proxy does the Network address translation. And a cache program like squid saves the reutrn data as per the request of cliens.

But I am not clear about transparent proxy.

Any explanation is expected.
